How should I care for my clothing and shoes?

Proper care helps preserve the quality, fit, and appearance of your LUNESCAPE pieces for years to come.

Clothing Care

For best results, we recommend:

• Always read and follow the care label before washing or cleaning your garment.
• Sort laundry by fabric type, color, and recommended care instructions.
• Wash at the lowest temperature suitable for the garment. The temperature shown on the care label is the maximum recommended.
• Turn garments inside out before washing to help protect colors, prints, and finishes.
• Rinse swimwear thoroughly after each use and allow it to air dry naturally.

To help extend the life of your garments, avoid:

• Using more detergent than recommended.
• Using detergents that contain bleach unless specifically instructed on the care label.
• Tumble drying garments unless the care label indicates it is safe to do so.
• Ironing directly over prints, embroidery, embellishments, or decorative trims.
• Leaving garments with contrasting colors soaking for extended periods.
• Soaking garments with metal hardware or trims, which may cause discoloration or damage.

Shoe Care

Proper shoe care will help maintain both appearance and longevity.

We recommend:

• Applying a suitable protector to suede and nubuck shoes before their first wear.
• Using a suede brush regularly to maintain the texture and finish of suede.
• If your shoes become wet, stuff them with paper to help maintain their shape and allow them to air dry naturally, away from direct heat or sunlight.
• Cleaning trainers and canvas shoes with a soft brush or cloth once dry. Unless the manufacturer specifically states otherwise, avoid washing shoes in a washing machine.
• Having worn heel tips replaced by a professional shoe repair service to prevent slipping and protect the heel from further damage.

Natural Leather

Leather is a natural material, and each piece is unique. Minor variations in color, texture, and grain are normal characteristics of genuine leather and should be appreciated as part of its natural beauty rather than considered imperfections.
